Job Description:Store Associate

The Store Associate contributes to store sales and KPI targets by modeling brand values to provide Athletes a unique experience when visiting Under Armour. This role reports to the Store Manager and is responsible for execution of routine duties to support store operations. The Sales Associate will assume the Stock Specialist responsibilities in their absence.Values & Innovation

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional service to customers from the moment they are greeted until they complete their transaction at the checkout
• Recommend premium footwear and apparel choices that prioritize both style and functionality
• Elevate your sales effectiveness by actively engaging in product training sessions to better communicate the benefits of the products to potential buyers
• Ensure the store is immaculate, systematically arranged, and visually appealing
• Help implement strategies for seamless sales across various channels in line with UA policies
• Attain sales goals by offering personable, efficient, and knowledgeable assistance
• Safeguard the Under Armour brand essence and commitment to exemplary service
• Implement the UA Service Model to effectively communicate brand messages
• Observe the dress code protocol and uphold a professional appearance without fail
• Execute operational and cash handling tasks accurately
• Ensure the consistency of merchandise display and comply with the floor set standards
• Conform to the standards and procedures specified by UA
• Make certain to be present for the scheduled hours of work consistently
• Pool resources with team members to meet store goals
• Accept accountability for personal development and embrace opportunities for acquiring knowledge
• Be flexible to work in both the front and rear areas of the store as needed

Qualifications:

• Eligibility starts at 16 years of age, with the exception of California, where it is 18 years
• Ready to work at different times, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Feeling relaxed while using or gaining proficiency in technology like computers and mobile devices
• Effective communication and adept listening are crucial competencies to have
• Fluent in the local idioms
• Key competencies in numeracy and literacy
• Favoring a mindset that encourages working together and supporting team members
• Accomplished in managing responsibilities in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• While experience in retail or customer service is preferred, it is not a prerequisite for the role
