As the Retail Store Manager, you will act as the Business Owner of your store. You will lead all aspects of the store—merchandising, financial management, staff development, and customer experience—to achieve and exceed sales goals. Your leadership ensures excellence in operations and a brand-consistent shopping experience that reflects the Under Armour standard.
Retail Operations:
Direct the handling of shipments, processing, floor sets, markdowns, and replenishment
Ensure daily operational efficiency and compliance with audit/shrink standards
Manage payroll, optimize staffing, and lead scheduling to support store productivity
Lead execution of visual merchandising within required timelines
Analyze merchandise performance and adapt floor plans accordingly
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe selling and working environment
Qualifications:
Advanced communication, numeracy, and literacy skills
Fluent in English and the local language
Skilled in interpreting data and analytics
Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance standards
High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
Proficient in computers and relevant technology
Strong time-management and organizational abilities
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving in fast-paced environments
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of management experience
At least 1 year in a sports/apparel/footwear retail leadership role
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Able to lift or relocate items up to 25 lbs (12 kg)
Able to stand, walk, and move for extended periods with short breaks
Able to access all areas of the store (sales floor, stockroom, register area)
