Job Description for Warehouse Manager:

The Warehouse Manager's role involves managing and organizing the tasks of employees engaged in various warehouse processes such as ordering, picking, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials in a warehouse or yard of moderate size.

Position Responsibilities for Warehouse Manager:

• Oversee the direction, coordination, and evaluation of warehouse operations.
• Ensure proper execution and implementation of all policies and procedures related to picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
• Train and evaluate warehouse staff on effective inventory techniques and daily tasks.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and control product loss.
• Conduct physical counts of inventory and reconcile floor counts and inventory shipments.
• Schedule and manage warehouse team members within labor and budget constraints while meeting the facility's demands.
• Ensure all equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and fleet trucks, is properly maintained and inspection practices are followed.

Requirements for Warehouse Manager:

• It is recommended to have completed high school or obtained a GED.
• Three years of proven ability to lead in warehouse or distribution center management.
• Two years of practical involvement using Microsoft Excel.
• A track record of 24 months working with data related to procedures, pinpointing areas for enhancement, and offering suggestions for betterment.
